Directions by Car

From the M4 (A46):

Take the A46 at J18 towards Bath. Follow the signs for Bath, until you're coming down a long hill on a dual carriageway. Take the left lane to go up to the roundabout, and turn right (signed for Bath A4 & Warminster A36). From here, it's as below.

From Chippenham (A4):

Take the A4 into Bath (signed for Bath A4 & Warminster A36), and follow the signs for All Routes.

After you've passed a Morrisons on the left & an Esso petrol station on the right, get into the left lane to turn left at the next set of traffic lights (signed for Through Traffic).

After 1/2 mile, you'll come to another set of traffic lights - get in the right lane to turn right (signed for All Other Routes). From here, it's as below - you're about 100 yards from the roundabout.

From Warminster / Salisbury (A36): View from A46 (from M4), A4(E) (from Chippenham) & A36 (from Salisbury / Warminster)

Take the A36 into Bath, and follow the signs for All Routes & Bristol A4 (W).

At the first roundabout, go straight over (signed for All Routes & Bristol A4).

Follow this road (signed for Bristol A4) for about 2 miles, until the one-way system turns into a dual carriageway. Get into the right lane to turn right at the roundabout.

Take the A4 into Bath, and follow the signs for Chippenham A4, Warminster A36 & All Through Traffic.

After you've passed a Sainsbury's on the left & 1/2 mile later an Esso petrol station on the right, get into the left lane to turn left at the roundabout.

Take the A367 into Bath, and follow the signs for Bath. Follow the road right down the hill, and get into the left lane to go straight over at the roundabout.

At the bottom, this is what you will see:

Into Bath: Churchill Bridge

Go over the river, taking the roundabout exit shown arrowed on the right:

Get into the right hand lane to take the first right (shown arrowed in the central photo & inset)

Green Park Road

Follow the road to the right, then take the left immediately round the corner (shown arrowed in the next photo) Corn Street

 

The Inventions Arts Cafe is in an old chapel, overlooking the small park halfway along on the right.

 

Parking on St James's ParadeParking is free on Sundays along this road (shown on the left). If there's no spaces, it's also free on a road off to the right, just past the Hobgoblin pub (shown on the right)

Parking on Westgate Buildings

Failing that, the car park you passed on your way in is close, and 2.50 all day on Sundays. You'll have to navigate the notorious Bath One-Way system to get to the entrance though... (Keep the car park on your right and drive right around it to get to the entrance)
